How do we book?
As soon as you've arranged the venue and date, please get in touch to check my availability. I have dates secured far in advance and only take on a certain number of bookings per year.
All wedding dates are available on a first come first serve basis. A signed contract and a retainer of 30% are required upon booking. This retainer guarantees that I’ll hold the date exclusively for you. The outstanding balance will be due 60 days before your wedding date.

Will we need to meet before the wedding day?
I always prefer meeting up before you book. This way we're able to see if we're a good fit and get to know each other. We will then meet up closer to your wedding date and go through your final schedule to make sure the day runs smoothly.
If you're over seas or unable to meet in person, I'll be happy to video call!
Do you travel?
Yes! I'm based in Jersey, Channel Islands but will travel anywhere! I love travelling to new places, so if you're getting married abroad, get in touch for a personalised quote.
Can we provide you with a shot list?
I don't mind shooting a few photographs on request but checking off images from a list is not my style of work. Every wedding is different and other than providing a list for group portraits, I would prefer to create unique memories for you.
Do you use a second photographer?
I usually work alone at weddings. Although for larger events, where I simply cannot be in two places at once, an additional photographer might be a good idea. For example, to photograph your partner in the morning.
Please let me know if you're considering this so that I can make arrangements for a second shooter I think suitable.
Why are the couple portraits so important?
The couple portraits are some of my favourite photographs of the day. It’s your first moment alone together as a married couple. I know you wouldn't like to leave your guests for too long, but I can assure you the results will be worth it for just a short time away.
At our meeting, we will discuss where the best location will be, depending on your venue and personal preferences.
Can our wedding guests take photos?
Of course! My only request is that guests try to keep cameras away whilst they are apart of the moment. If guests stand in the aisle with mobile phones, it doesn't look great in your professional photographs.
What if the weather's not looking good?
Don’t let a bit of water ruin your day. Grab an umbrella and dance in it!
We will always be prepared for the unexpected and if the forecast isn't looking the best, I will make sure there's a backup plan. The group and couple portraits are something I love to do outdoors with the natural light. If the weather clears up at any point, it's always worth the rush outdoors to get a few shots. Otherwise, we will have to use a suitable indoor location as an alternative.
Do we need to provide you with food at the reception?
Yes please! For a full day wedding, I would be very grateful if you were able to provide a meal whilst you and your guests are sat down. It's a long day, so it’s nice to rest for a little while and check through my equipment.
Do you offer discount for weekday or off-season weddings?
For smaller weddings, I offer a by the hour price list, which is sent on request. This is available for weddings on a weekday throughout the year. (Excluding major holidays)
When will we see the photographs?
I send a few favourites a week or two later so that you have something to share with family and friends. Your full gallery of photographs will be ready 6-8 weeks after your wedding day.
How many photographs should we expect?
For a full wedding day, you can expect 400+ photographs. Every wedding is different, which means that number will vary depending on the schedule of your day and if there is a second photographer.
Can we see the raw, unedited files?
The raw, unedited files are not available for viewing or purchase. The images selected for editing and final delivery reflect my high standards and any rejected duplicates or outtakes are no longer archived.
Who owns the copyright of the photographs?
The copyright of the photographs always remains with the photographer. I license my clients the right to produce the images in any way you wish. You cannot use the photographs for commercial re-sale.
Can we edit the photographs once we receive the gallery?
The final edit reflects my brand and style. If you edit your photographs any further after delivery, then please do not tag me in any social media as this will not be consistent with my other work.
How do we order prints?
Once you receive your USB, I will also send you the link to your online gallery. This is a great way to share your day with friends and family. Your gallery will also be a secure shopping cart, which allows you to order prints and other extras. It should be as simple as ordering anything online, but if you need any help just let me know.
How do we order a wedding album?
To order an album of your wedding day, you will select your favourite 100 photographs from the online gallery and send these straight to me. Once you have done this I will go ahead and design your album, sending you a proof for approval before putting in the order. For example of albums, please get in touch.
What if I lose my photographs?
When you receive your USB, I advise backing up the photographs straight away. If you misplace the USB, you will still have the online gallery where you can download the high-resolution images. Please be aware that I only keep the files archived for 12 months following the wedding date.
Are you insured?
Yes. As a full time, professional photographer, I am fully insured for both professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
If I cancel my wedding, is the retainer refundable?
The retainer is non-refundable. This guarantees that I’ll hold the date exclusively for you and turn down any other enquiries.
What if you’re ill or have to cancel for any reason?
If I have to cancel, the full amount of the non-refundable retainer and any further payments received will be returned to the client and I'll do my very best to help you find an alternative photographer.
What should we wear?
Whatever you decide to wear, make sure you plan for the weather. If it's too chilly then we're not going to have much fun! Try to avoid branded clothing and heavy patterns as well as bright colours, especially red. These all distract the eye. If you stick to smart, neutral clothes then we can't go wrong. Think, The White Company or Jojo Maman Bebe - but remember to still keep it you!
What if the weathers not looking good?
As an on location photographer, I'm used to the ever-changing weather. If the weather isn't on our side we can reschedule for the next available date.
What if the kids don’t co-operate?
There's usually a wobble or two and that's okay. Most of the time, that's what makes the photographs even better! My goal is to capture every personality, including all the fake tears and small moments. I spend half of the time running around with them until they end up stuck to your hip just wanting cuddles.
When will we see the photographs?
Your full gallery of photographs will be ready 4 weeks following your shoot date, or sooner in less busy periods.
How many photographs should we expect?
For a one hour photo shoot you can expect 80+ photographs. This completely depends on your family and how you interact with each other.
How do we order prints or an album?
Your online gallery will also be a secure shopping cart where you can order prints and other extras. You can also select your favourite images to create an album too. Full instructions will be sent once you receive your gallery.
How do we book a photo shoot?
If you have a specific date in mind then please get in touch as soon as possible. I have limited weekend dates available and only take on a certain number of bookings per year.
A signed contract and the shoot fee will be due at the time of booking. This fee guarantees that I’ll hold the date and time exclusively for you. In the event that we might need to reschedule, the fee will be transferred to the new date.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! I have gift cards available to purchase for a full family/portrait shoot or an amount towards one.
These are valid for 12 months from purchase.
